Myddraal and Moghedien.
By Michael Bielaczyc

This costume debuted at Dragoncon2008.

Myrddraal Costume

Myddraal and Moghedien - Dragoncon 2008, Wheel of Time costume group.

Me and Laura dressed up late Saturday night Dragoncon 2008 with a wheel of time group. Laura designed the fabric portions of the costumes, I made the leather work (except for the breatsplate, that's my brothers) and the mask.

The mask is one of our new silicone prosthetics. They are so cool, they move with you, so they are very expressive and very easy to blend in. Of course this one was difficult to wear since I couldn't actually see, but it sure looked creepy.

Video of how pliable the mask is.

The first part is the under-costume, which I used our basic Rogue Garb for the base. The bracers are custom made leather bracers which don't come with the basic Rogue costume. They are built like scales and are very flexable so you don't lose any wrist movement.

Here is a non-photoshopped picture of me and Laura at Dragoncon. Not quite as scary when the bad guys have their badges on :)
